Pool Recreation: Water-Shooting Toys

October 12, 2017 By Sozo Staff Leave a Comment

As much as you’re anticipating your new pool right now, it might be difficult to imagine that your kids, your friends, and maybe even you yourself could get bored with simply swimming and splashing around in your back yard’s new addition. But it could happen. The good news is that you can have a few surprises already tucked away to bring out when that sad day does come. From the youngest kids to teens and adults, there are plenty of fun-filled pool accessories to keep everyone coming back for more, all summer long! Think past the pool noodles, people: today’s pool toys are bigger and better than ever before!

Splash & Play Wave Attack Ride on Pool Toy

The most fun water-shooting toys might actually be made for when you’re already in the water! Unlike traditional squirt guns, you don’t have to worry about hooking up a hose to refill these water-shooting toys designed for pool use.

We’ll start with the perfect ride for the youngest kids: the Splash and Play Wave Attack Inflatable Ride-On Pool Toy. This 55-inch-long marvel can accommodate a single passenger and is shaped like a racing boat and includes a built-in squirt gun.

Also perfect for the younger set, the Swimline Fire Boat Inflatable Pool Squirter has a Harbor Patrol theme and can accommodate more than one child. The squirter can put out any imaginary fires, making your pool participants feel extra safe — or wet — or both!

Starfighter Super Squirter Inflatable Pool Toy

Offering similar play potential, the Starfighter Super Squirter Inflatable Pool Toy is made of durable heavy gauge vinyl. More suitable for the “big kids” in your world, this 43-inch-tall toy offers a futuristic, sci-fi design while still incorporating the same water-shooting action.

Another great option for the older kids, the Swimline BattleBoard Pool BattleStation Set includes three inflatable boats. One of the boats is a 2-person Battlestation Docking Port, which includes two squirters on each side, allowing defenders to protest “attacks” from the two BattleBoard kickboards, each of which also includes two built-in squirters.

Swimline Arcade Water Shooter Toy

Next on the list, the Swimline Arcade Water Shooter Toy. Inspired by the carnival game, this competitive gun race includes two constant-supply water pistols.

One final toy that includes some water-squirting action is the Dueling Targets Pool Game. Shoot at the target, and soak your opponent — or just practice aiming on their own! Water guns don’t come with this one, but you can easily purchase those separately.

When it comes to pool guns, we have a few to recommend. The Original Max Eliminator Pool Water Gun definitely shoots far, as does the Hydro Zooka! You can also add 4 Stream Machine Water Guns to your poolside arsenal with this multi pack. You can expect this quad to shoot up to 70 feet!
