Many people have some form of an eating disorder which can result in poor health and even death. You can help bring awareness to these problems by spreading the word about them. Create custom flash drives that include this information. Do research on your area and find places that help people with eating disorders. Include addresses and phone numbers of doctor’s offices, clinics, and support groups. Conduct interviews with people who have survived and overcome an eating disorder, and include those. These could even be video interviews for added emphasis.
Once you’ve compiled everything you can and saved it all on flash drives, hand them out on school campuses if you’re given permission, leave them with doctor’s offices and Planned Parenthood clinics, or just hand them out randomly to strangers while walking down the street. The more people know about these issues, the quicker our society can begin to combat them together. Who knows, you might even save a few lives by doing this.
